Caleb Medley came to SHINE in Summer of 2010. His self-deprecating humor charmed the crowds enough to get him a place in the Talent Finale. Off stage he became known for his kindness and sincerity. He was on his way to a successful career in comedy when tragedy struck early Friday morning of July 20th.
Unfortunately Caleb was in the Aurora, Colorado movie theater the night a gunman came in and started shooting. Caleb was hit in the eye with a bullet. He remains as of July 24th in critical condition. He was placed in an induced coma. He will lose his right eye and could suffer brain damage.
Caleb’s wife gave birth to their first child on the morning of July 24th. Mother and son are doing well.
