November 2008 UPDATE:
Randall Bentley stars as the lead, Solomon White, in a coming of age film called Falling Up to be released in 2009. He continues to play the character of Lyle on NBC’s Heroes.
Previous Bio
Until 2005, Randall’s acting career was confined to his soccer field and school antics – the world was his stage! He had never acted, modeled or sung solo on stage before attending AMTC in 2004. He signed with Coast to Coast Talent in L.A. and Hot Shot Kids in Atlanta. Randall’s first TV role was as Colby Bates, the final case in the finale of Judging Amy in 2005. Since that time he has performed in national commercials, including Taco Bell, Nintendo, KFC, Chevy, and JC Penney, as well as commercial print spreads for Mercedes, Disney and Bellsouth. Randall now plays the recurring role of “Lyle,” “Claire’s” brother in the NBC adventure/drama, Heroes. He just filmed a movie of the week, “Loves Unfolding Dream,” for the Hallmark channel.
Randall continues to be a kid with his old friends and new friends from all over the world. He plays a variety of sports, sings, attends church, plays the guitar and throws cards at lightning speed (to the dismay of his mother.) He is also a whiz at chess, math and video games! The private school, Laurel Springs, in which Randall is enrolled in L.A., is very flexible and he can complete his work from Georgia or California. He still pursues his long-term goal of being an attorney, as well.
Randall’s father appeared in two movies in the 1990’s, and his sister, Elisabeth, who was also a finalist at AMTC, sings and has performed numerous leading roles on stage. She currently attends the University of Georgia.
Update – Randall appeared in State of Mind on Lifetime.
He has booked an EA Sports commercial for a Nascar video.
