Mary-Charles Jones

Mary Charles will be playing young Claire in a new film called Father of Invention. Father of Invention is about an eccentric inventor turned ego maniacal infomercial guru, who loses it all when one of his inventions maims thousands of customers. After 8 years in maximum security prison, Axle is ready to redeem his name and rebuild his billion dollar empire.

Hello Carey!

Mary-Charles filmed with Kevin Spacey which was a lot of fun. He is a wonderful actor and really was kind to Mary-Charles. He gave her many compliments which was pretty cool coming from a 2 time oscar winner:-)

Next up is a small role in a film titled Shrinking Charlotte. It is filming here in Atlanta and Mary-Charles will play a young Brittany Murphy. Hoping to make a trip to LA in the spring to see what the Lord has in store for the Jones girls!!

Hi!

Hope all is well with AMTC preparations! I am sure you are all very busy. I wanted to update you on some exciting bookings for MC.

Mary-Charles booked a small role in the Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too”. She films the day we return from AMTC the role of Mrs. Tannenbaums daughter. MC also booked the role of Ana in a sag low budget film “Yellow Cry”. It begins filming in Atlanta in the fall. She is in consideration for young claire in Kevin Spaceys Father of Invention which will film in New Orleans. We should hear something in the next week or so.
Exciting news for her!!! Lastly she learned to water ski and knee board last week…fun fun! See you all at AMTC!

Mary Charles guest stars on Grey’s Anatomy Thursday, April 23!

Mary-Charles: Made it to producers on 3 pilots and to the final round on one of them.
She did not book, but boy is she getting close:-) As you know her Grey’s anatomy episode airs this Thursday.

Mary-Charles did the American Girl shoot in Savannah. She was there several days and they took tons of pictures. The pics will appear on the website, in the store and in the catalog. ALSO… MC just booked a major role on Grey’s Anatomy.

“It’s really funny, and it was shot in L.A.” Angela, Mary Charles’ Mom, said, “What we realized when we were shooting is that almost half of the kids in the commercial came from AMTC, including Hero’s star, Adair Tishler. What are the odds of that? God loves the long odds. Thank you for promoting AMTC children!”

Mary-Charles Jones came to AMTC in the Summer of 2006 at the age of 4. Two years later, she is an accomplished actress with impressive credits and even a TV series! In 2006, Mary-Charles landed a recurring role playing Caitlin Rowan in the ABC network drama October Road. She thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to meet some great actors and writers. Mary-Charles had the privilege of working with directors Gary Fleder, Michael Schultz and David Paymer.

Since attending AMTC Mary-Charles has filmed principal roles in 12 commercials. Currently she can be seen in a national Dominos commercial as well as a national Disney Theme Parks commercial. Appearing along side Mary-Charles in the Dominos commercial is fellow AMTC alumni and Heroes star Adair Tishler. Mary-Charles is represented by J Pervis Talent in Atlanta and on the West Coast by The Osbrink Agency.
