Maranda Hollifield is a home school student with a strong family and a deep faith. She began her AMTC adventure with a desire to act. However, the world of fashion jumped to the forefront with Maranda’s quick success at New York Models, and with agents overseas. An interesting note from Maranda’s AMTC Director, Amanda Kirk, from which all new talent can learn: “Maranda studies modeling and fashion like it is a school subject. She studies photographers, their style, posing in the mirror, experimenting with fashion, etc. etc!! She tries to research before she attends a casting so she will know about the product or company or magazine. That way, she has something to say when given the opportunity.” Maranda’s advice is to take advantage of every opportunity, don’t judge anything without trying it, stay true to your values, and make sure you enjoy what you are doing! Most importantly, Maranda praises God for all the blessings He has given her.
