Grace called to say that she worked 4 straight days during Chicago Fashion Week, and she just auditioned for Target! Not bad start for a high school student. Best of all, Grace is strong in her faith. Her goals include being a Christian role model, and a cross-over talent showing girls they can be beautiful without being size 2! Grace models with Elite Chicago.

Update from Grace:

Hi Carey~

I hope that your day is going well! I just wanted to let you know that I got a job with Nike. I did it this past Friday (the 15th). It was really relaxed and pretty simple. We wore clothing that would be sold to colleges. Basically representatives from several different area schools came and we did (sort of) a runway show. We would walk out, stop, the person in charge would talk about what we were wearing, and then we would continue back to our “holding room”. There were two male models, and two female models. Both the male models and myself were from Elite, while the other girl was from Ford. I was so honored that Alyssa decided that I could represent Elite for this job, out of all the models Elite has! Hopefully that means I will be getting more work soon. This job was such a blessing. I hadn’t had a modeling job in a while, and I had started to get discouraged. (Marc did say that there was one thing I was lacking in this business, PATIENCE).

On a different note, my Mom and I are really loving going to these AMTC workshops. I don’t really have that much input to give… but I love volunteering to help with walking or whatever Karen asks me to do. Karen is such a sweet person, and it really is a good and kind group over all! Anyway, I just wanted to fill you in on what has been going on. Thanks for taking your time to read this.
