• December 2012 Diana booked a lead role in the broadway musical Nerds. Nerds is a cheeky original musical that celebrates the birth of computer technology and the two pop-culture icons, Bill Gates & Steve Jobs, who made it possible. The show follows the lives of the founding fathers of personal computing as they rise from Nerds to billionaires, making a mark on history, and defining the golden age of technology.

Diana DeGarmo, since almost winning Idol in 2004, has had plenty of success in musical theater, doing more than a half-dozen shows, from Hairspray to Hair. Her soaring vocal ability and cheerful persona has worked well on stage.
