My most recent success includes a guest star on TNT’s new pilot “Night and Day”. In addition I’ve done national print ads for Verizon Wireless, Nike, Skechers, Ross, and Footlocker. I’ve also been fortunate enough to work in print for E! Entertainment, Inter Sport, Score, Nokia, and Playstation (to name a few). I’ve done commercials for Pontiac, New Balance, Footlocker, and Wrigley. I’ve appeared on “That’s So Raven”, “Noah’s Arc”, and “The Big Match”. Finally, I host for www.badonlinedates.com. Behind the camera, I helped produce a SAG short film titled “Settle”. I co produce with an associate for Fino Productions, and sometimes find the time to voice various webisodes and web sites.
I am fully represented by my theatrical, commercial, voice over, and not one but three print agencies (Wings Model Management, BRAND, and C.E.S.D.) And this is all in a span of less than four years. The time it takes to finish high school or graduate college. Its been a blast and every day in Los Angeles continues to amaze me. Outside of my career success my life has blossomed in ways I could have never imagined. Of course it all started with my first agent, Jake Lang, and one talent convention. Those two were the catalyst to a life I only dreamed of.
It started in the spring of 2004 just two years after signing with my mother agency, Wings Model Management. I awoke one Saturday morning to receive a call from my agent. I thought, “ Oh wow, Jake’s calling. I hope it’s a direct booking!” Its wasn’t, it was something more exciting that looking back now, I realized was a HUGE turning point in my life. He offered me the opportunity to pursue my dreams. Boy, am I glad I took him up on it. Long story short, we came, we saw, we conquered. Our group performed so well, and we came in with such energy that we stole the show. From that convention everyone, not only our group, but everyone walked away with something special. That something special being confidence and self knowing.
I took that confidence with me two months after the convention when I packed up and drove to LA. I came out with a fellow AMTC alum, Tiffany Hines, and we all know she is living the dream! Another two months after that I booked my first television audition for “That’s So Raven”. Immediately became a part of the Screen Actors Guild and since then the ball continues to roll.
Today my plate is so full with theatrical, commercial, print, voice over, hosting, and producing gigs that its become a constant reminder of how grateful I am for everything you do. It would be a pleasure give back and speak at the next Convention!
