Austen Brown was five at her first AMTC. She booked a TV commercial in NYC that paid her way through school. That was just the beginning. Austen alternately worked and competed in AMTC as she grew up. She worked for clients like Abercrombie and Fitch, Ruehl, Ford Motor Cars, Hanes, L’eggs, Sony, American Airlines, Pfizer, Prevention Magazine, K-Swiss, MTV, The Firm, Vibe Magazine, and Best Body Magazine. Austen has been modeling, acting, singing, and dancing for twenty years and had done more than forty regional and national jobs by the time she graduated from high school. Additional work includes fifteen fitness videos, two films, and four television shows. In addition to her work as an entertainer, she has been a Personal Development Instructor, a Stylist, an Acting Coach, a Manager of a multi-million dollar Fitness Facility, a Business Owner, and an Inspirational Speaker to nearly 15,000 students. In her current season she is proud to be on the Board of Directors of Project Nightlight, an abuse prevention non-profit organization and Founder, Director and Youth Minister for the R.I.P. the Runway Young Women’s Ministry. When she is not dabbling in the entertainment industry or working in ministry, Austen can be found wandering the halls of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where she is working on her degree in Christian Education. When she has completed her studies, she hopes to host a Christian teen talk show.
