Adair Tishler turns 13 and graces the February issue of InspireTeen Magazine. Watch Adair on her cover shoot!
Adair Tishler is mostly recognized for her role in season one of Heroes. Tishler is now featured in Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse as Eliza Dushku’s young-self.
From the article about her guest starring appearance on Dollhouse: “I idolized Eliza’s character from Buffy,” she said, “She is [a] talented actress and it was greatly overwhelming to play her mini-me.” The show Dollhouse was raved by long-time “Buffy” fans, but with ratings sinking, Fox decided to cut the show from the network. Fortunately, Tishler’s appearance is to be aired this week.
Tishler stars as young “Caroline” who has Caroline (Eliza Dushku)’s “brain.” She also leads “two others to safe haven because it is post-apocalypse.” Speaking about being on the “Dollhouse” set, Tishler exclaimed that the cast and crew “made [her] feel like [she] belonged” which makes everything much ‘perkier’ for a young actress.
Only 13-years-old, Tishler had a few things to say about image and school struggles. “[Middle School] causes beautiful healthy girls to see themselves wrongly…it’s the worst.” If a majority stops caring about what others see, “we could really change the world.” Tishler also mentions she had “really bad issues with friends,” but finally “found some good ones.”
You can catch Tishler on the upcoming Dollhouse episode and the film, Jack and the Beanstalk.
