June 30, 2008 UPDATE
Here’s and Update on Nicole I’ve enclosed a copy of her new picture’s so you can see how much she has grown. Also she is with Osbrink now and just booked a Build A Bear Voice, so she is on cloud nine. We are thankful for every opportunity that GOD has given us each and everyday. If it wasn’t for AMTC and all the wonderful people along the way who are helping Nicole fulfill her dreams as an actor, we would not be where we are today. Thank you for opening the doors of opportunity which to lead us down the path we are on today, we are truly blessed and grateful.

Previous Bio
Nicole Smolen attended AMTC in January 2005 at the age of 8 with The Actor Scene – from Buford, GA soon after that she left for Los Angeles. Nicole is with Discover Management- Debra-Lynn Findon, Osbrink Talent Agency, and Rage Models. Nicole has recently Co-Starred in Criminal Minds and Out of Jimmy’s Head, plus Nicole recently won the Young Artist Award for Best Young Ensemble Performance in a TV Series (for Out of Jimmy’s Head).

She also had an opportunity to be apart of two films coming out this year, Finding Red Cloud, Happiness Runs and was in Charlie Wilson’s War. Nicole has completed numerous short films that are heading to film festivals. Nicole had the privilege to be apart of a PSA called “The Way to Happiness” it is airing on all networks and was excited to work on a music video called “A Dream” the artist is Pricilla Ahn, you can view on You Tube. Nicole is currently writing a script about her brother called “A Date with My Brother” look for it coming soon on You Tube.

Says Nicole’s Mom, Jo Ann, “Nicole continues to audition, work, and train and grow as an actor, this has been such a wonderful experience. This has all been possible because of a post card sent to our mailbox one afternoon, and a little girl begging to go take acting classes, then participating in AMTC. We are so grateful to AMTC for such an amazing opportunity to be seen by top agents, managers, and casting directors and a Special Thanks to each and everyone that has made this journey so special we are truly grateful.”

Hi Ms. Arban,

Just wanted to give you an update on my daughter, Nicole Smolen. We have been extremely busy here in LA. Nicole is with Diverse Talent Group for Theatrical, commercial and Print, Debra Lynn Findon Discover Mgt.. She is also with Rage Model & Talent as a Fit Model.

Nicole just finished an episode on Criminal Minds “Ashes & Dust” in the role of Katie. She also played a refugee girl in the upcoming movie Charlie Wilson War with Tom Hanks, what a great experience she had just being on such a big production. Even though she was an extra she had a blast. She will soon have a PSA “The Way to Happiness” air soon on all networks. Nicole is feature in 3 or 4 of the PSA’s.

Nicole is also a fit model for Rage Model and Talent. Some of her clients are Paige Premium Jeans, LEI, Bubble Gum Jeans, Jonathan Martin, Fortune Fashion, Celebrity Pink, Mighty Fine and many more.

Update – Nicole landed a role on Out of Jimmy’s Head for Cartoon network. Nicole was on set for 4 days, she had so much fun. Her episode will air in Feb 08. It took 2 hours a day for make-up, they airbrushed her green each day.
