Tim Chandler
Since competing in the Summer 2007 AMTC, Tim has worked for the Cartoon Network’s shows including: The Jibbs, Plain White T’s & Hawthorne Heights as well as a commercial for Moe’s Southwest Grill.
Tim was diagnosed with mild Cerebral Palsy as a baby. He has had multiple surgeries and physical therapy since he was 6 months old to minimize the impact. Tim has never, ever complained about his handicap. He handles life with an amazing optimism and attitude.
Tim’s loves all technology – video games, computers, and any new gadgets. He’s always thinking of creative ways to make gadgets better. He started in Scouting as a Cub Scout in 1st Grade – earned his Arrow of Light, and is now a Boy Scout where he has so far obtained the 2nd Class rank. His goal (of course with Tim!) is to obtain the Eagle Scout rank.
One of his gifts in life is vocabulary and languages: he scored so highly on a 5th grade oral exam in French, and had a high enough grade on the standardized testing for Reading that he was able to take French class daily in middle school instead of Reading.
But the really best thing about Tim is his spirit and attitude. He’s a very happy, loving child, and always sees the good in people and in life.
