How did I as their Mom miss all this? |

Dear Carey, Janice & Stephanie,
This letter comes from a heart of appreciation. How can I begin to “Thank You” for all you and AMTC has done for both my boys, John and Chris Sierra. When John and Chris first began to travel down this road, my husband and I were very skeptical. We had voices all around us telling us, “it’s a scam,” “all they want is your money,” “don’t let them get involved,” etc. so as you can imagine our willingness to just let them get involved was tainted. Together with a feeling of apprehension, and a knowledge of the entertainment industry, let’s just say we did not have a spirit of peace, but one of uneasiness.
My husband and I have always known John’s heart to pursue his passion, which is music, but always wondered, “who do you talk too, how do you get your name out there,” etc. So we pushed it aside and just prayed that God would show us “how” this passion could somehow become a reality.
On his way back from church one evening, my husband wound up listening to another radio station, because the station he normally listens too was static (this was God’s way of opening this particular door). While listening, an advertisement came on for AMTC, immediately my husband called John and said, “John you need to look into this…”.
John went to the audition with Chris on his coat tails, hoping to get a callback, but had no expectations at all. The next day they both find out that they were on their way to pursue a dream and a passion that God had instilled in them. The funny thing is, Chris didn’t even know that this passion existed or even what he wanted to do with his life; he had no idea that acting would be playing a major role in his life. God did, but wanted to keep this gift a secret from Chris until His “perfect” timing. Chris really only went to the audition because John was going and he thought, “hey this maybe fun.” Little did he know…. It never ceases to amaze me how God reveals to us what HE wants for our lives and of course, it’s always better then we ever could hope for. (Jer 29:11)
Even after all the practices, dress rehearsals, and hours of preparation, both John and Chris were still apprehensive about the outcome of the competition. Again, it’s those negative voices whispering in your ear along with the financial burden of “how am I going to finish paying for this” (of course, satan loves for us to doubt that which God has already taken care of). Since my kids were responsible for paying for this competition on their own due to John and I not having the extra finances, they both prayed, “Lord if you want us to go to this competition, you will have to provide the way.” The very next day I talk with Janice and….. “Lord you are so good”. Well off to competition we go- YEAH!!
Riding down to Florida both of my kids said to the other, “why are we doing this again?” That may have been a lack of confidence in their ability to perform as well as the uncertainty of what to expect. Well, let me just say that AMTC and the competition far passed their expectations. They said, “it was best experience of their lives!!” Not only did you open their world up to the possibility of one day pursuing their dreams, but the competition increased their confidence in knowing that “all things are possible.”
How did I as their Mom miss all this? How did I not see these gifts God had given them? I knew that my children were talented in their own way, but what Mom doesn’t. Forgive my ignorance AMTC and THANK YOU for seeing those things in my children that I didn’t. Thank you for believing in them, and pouring into them those things which will continue to help them during this journey.
God says in his word that He will reward those who bless His name and follow His word; God has used all of you to bless many people’s lives and their families, and that brings much honor to His name. I believe in return God will continue to bless the success of AMTC and those who pour their lives into that which they believe in. It’s very evident that you all love doing what you do, but most importantly you are doing it to enhance the kingdom of God in a world that is falling away from the morals of that which this country was founded on. AMTC, it’s an honor to be able to walk side by side with a company that projects such integrity. Thank you soooooo much for allowing us to become part of your family and I so look forward to seeing the mighty and great things that God is going to do through the success of John and Chris with the help from this outstanding company, AMTC.
May the Lord continue to bless you and use you to light this world.
In Appreciation,
Carolyn Sierra
PS. If there is any way our family can serve AMTC please let us know. We would enjoy nothing more then to help AMTC impact the world for JESUS :)
