Radio Ad Leads to Lifetime Highlight

Kaylyn Belfield

Dear Carey,

What a difference a year makes, actually it’s just been a matter of months. It is hard to believe that in July of 2009 we simply responded to a talent call on the radio. Six months later, our children Pierce and Kaylyn Belfield have signed with one of the most prestigious child management agencies in NYC, Shirley Grant Management.

I have to admit, I have been skeptical throughout this entire process. I like to see it as being intelligently skeptical, HA! But every step of the way AMTC proved to follow through, doing exactly what you said you would. Every person we met through the direct training was honest, incredibly helpful and most of all, sincerely cared about developing the kids and answering the parents’ questions. Meanwhile, the kids simply had a blast throughout the direct training. They love this stuff! Our family is incredibly proud to call itself a part of this AMTC family.

The AMTC convention experience itself was a lifetime highlight. Simply put, WE LOVED IT! Wednesday night of the week, our entire family came down with the stomach flu, including our 8 month old. The kids persevered, with nausea and empty stomachs, and performed incredibly. With really no expectations coming into this, our family was blown away receiving a total of 15 callbacks from VIP’s all over the country. Then later that evening Pierce was awarded Overall Actor for boys age 6-12. Wow, what an honor, being that there are so many talented children at this convention.

God has certainly blessed our family before AMTC and now we are in awe of what he has provided us now. God is so good. We understand the responsibility we have; to carry out the mission of AMTC, to be lights in this industry. So whatever He has in store for us from this point forward we vow as a family to keep God first and give him the praise.

Thank you so very much Ms. Carey for your vision and leadership of AMTC. Please send a very special ‘thank you’ to several AMTC leaders that have helped us along the way and even after the convention, Donna Doss Spicer, Chris Collins, Kim Turner, Allyson Newcomb, Stephanie Keel, Craig Garcia, Lexy She and Cheryl Harris.
