AMTC: Mission Possible!

Dear AMTC,

Thank you AMTC for hosting such a great event! Nikki and I truly enjoyed ourselves and had a blast. I was shocked when she was selected as one of the finalists in her category. She was always confident that she’d win something at convention. I even gave her a pep talk about not feeling bad if she did not get called up to the stage for an award when she asked “Mommy, when they call my name, how am I going to find my way back to our table”? Well, she had no problem…

Ever since her first audition, Nikki was sure she’d get a callback. She did get her callback… I received a call from AMTC with exciting news. They told me that the scouts had been very impressed with Nikki and that they wanted her to be a part of the AMTC experience…

We were so thankful and thus began to plan our way to convention. Nikki enjoyed all rehearsals and meeting all the AMTC trainers/staff. After every rehearsal meeting she’d go home so pumped up and would say she just couldn’t wait to get there. It all became a reality when we booked the hotel. There was no turning back!

God is always with us, but we’ve especially witnessed how He is working in Nikki’s life. I know He made it possible for us to get her there. We’ve been through a lot this past year, and every time that it looked like I had to use the saved “AMTC” funds for one thing or another, somehow we managed through it – even getting help from people that we never thought would have a part of her once in a lifetime experience. God is awesome!

At AMTC, Nikki did get a callback from Doris Stinga, FFT, New York, who gave her great advice, would like us to keep her updated, and recommends that Nikki do the local market first, finish losing all her baby teeth and having the adult teeth out and even. The day following our return to Virginia, Nikki auditioned for a Back-to-School fashion show for Lord & Taylor (major department store in Northeast, along the lines of Macy’s) and received a callback. Thanks to AMTC’s coaching and workshops, she was selected for the show! We’ve learned so much and are ever so thankful as we embark on this path in her life.
