Salt and light in the darkness…

Ken Hartley (AMTC Best All Around Actor, Summer 2009) will be appearing on Fast Track To Fame on the Speed Network, this coming Monday at 8pm. Ken and his daughter will be performing some of his magic routines.

Ken also is in the final round (it’s down to Ken and two others!) for a national Honda commercial.

Dear Lisa, (AMTC Admissions Director)

Thank you sooooo much for making this a possibility. It never would’ve happened without your help and hard work. You believed in Megan and me before we believed in ourselves. I am glad I have answered the nagging “what if” questions that have been with me for the last ten years. Megan and I are hoping to finalize signing with a few agents in the next couple of months. It’s SO surreal at the moment!!

Brittany (Megan’s younger sister) now wants to do AMTC. She sings, acts, and wants to model. She’s 5’9 1/2” and (I think) absolutely gorgeous. We’re trying to decide if she should wait until Winter next year or go for Summer.

I am so grateful to AMTC and the doors that have opened for me because of this wonderful Christian organization. I learned some important biblical lessons during the week that will stay with me forever. I now have opportunties in front of me that I only dreamed were possible. I pray God will make me salt and light in the darkness. Thank you for your vision and for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful event. I’ll remember it for the rest of my life. Praise the Lord for all He did!! :)

Additional Letter Written to AMTC CSO, Carey Arban

Hi Carey,

I just wanted to thank you and your entire staff for the wonderful educational experience at AMTC Winter 2009. The classes were all so informative and helpful. I don’t know of anywhere in the world we could’ve received that kind of education and be around as many industry professionals as we were. It was such an amazing experience to be able to talk to so many industry people in the hallways and hear them speak at the seminars.

I also appreciate the emphasis on Christian values. My heart cry has always been to make an impact for Christ in the world. (To literally be in the world but not of it) It was so great to see that emphasis lived out in the lives of the AMTC star’s panel discussion. This lets everyone know that dreams can and do come true without compromising deeply held values and convictions.

Since AMTC, I have received contacts from 2 agents and 1 casting director. We have several more to go, too! Lexy is doing a thorough and fabulous job of following up on all of mine and Megan’s callbacks. We are extremely excited about the prospects for the future, although it all seems a bit surreal at the moment. I keep pinching myself every time my phone rings or I get an email and asking myself if this is real! You and your organization have opened doors for us in ONE WEEK that it would take most people YEARS to open. What a great organization! Your Christian values, integrity, and professionalism have provided a pathway to our dreams. From the bottom of our hearts… THANK YOU!

Kim Turner was so encouraging to us. She greeted us every day with a smile and a word of blessing and encouragement. Lexy has been working so hard on our follow ups. I’m looking forward to getting to know her better and she has been incredibly efficient and professional in handling our callbacks. Jonathan and your entire media staff did a great job handling so many technical details. It is so unusual to have a program of that size come off with little to no technical glitches. They were great to work with and always offered a word of encouragement when I saw them.

Lastly, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Ashley Bullard. She was the model of a Christian woman and a constant source of information and encouragement to us the entire week. When we hit the depths of despair she was right there with us to lift us up and point us to Christ. You are blessed to have her in your organization.

I am so glad God guided us to AMTC. Thank you for your vision in putting this type of organization together. I look forward to working with you in the future in sending God’s gifted people into the world to be salt and light. I plan on letting my light shine before men so they may see those good deeds and glorify my Father in heaven.
