Hi Mrs. Carey!

My name is Kathryn and I actually just went to my THIRD AMTC convention!! WOW.. I don’t know where to start. First I wanted to express my appreciation about AMTC fully commiting to be a Christian company. You don’t know what a wonderful message that sends to young people like me this day and age.. To show them that you can still work in the business and have Christian morals is something that too many people don’t understand! When I left AMTC it felt as if I was leaving one HUGE week long worship service! It’s AWESOME that I can model and act and be in an enviroment where I can say, THIS IS ALL FOR YOU JESUS!!

I actually started modeling and acting when I was six. I went to New York for 3 months and worked with Wilhelmina, so this hasn’t been my first rodeo. But the reason I keep coming back to AMTC (besides because of my competitive spirit) is that it’s a safe, fun way to open soooo many doors to different agencies all over the world!

So.. winter ’09 convention.. WOW! What an amazing experience! Not only did I meet so many friends that I will stay in touch with for a very long time, but I also got 4 callbacks! Not as well as I did in 05 and 07, but I was in fashion and don’t mind. :) Anyways, I actually got a $1500 scholarship to The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts! PTL! I’m also thinking about signing with Rage Models.. fingers crossed!

But I just wanted to tell you (in a very long message, sorry) how God’s been working in my life! If there’s ANYTHING I can ever do to help with conventions just let me know! It’s been a blessing to be a contestant all these many years! Thanks for everything!
