Dear Mrs. Carey,
I’ve been meaning to write for some time to thank you for AMTC. I attended the Winter ’09 competition with my sister Audra, and we loved it. I’ve been to several different competitions for various activities and AMTC was by far the best. It has a sense of happiness involved that you don’t find everywhere. I guess it has to do with everybody having the hope that their dreams might come true, and that is all thanks to you and everybody that is involved with making AMTC happen.
Although I was runner up for Overall Male Teen Fashion and received 8 callbacks, I was not signed. It was quite a humbling experience and it took me awhile to understand it all but then I came to the conclusion that God has something else planned for me.
After AMTC, I returned back to my hometown (Franklin, TN) and continued to model and act for Advantage Models & Talent. I’ve done a music video, a nationally broadcasted Liberty Mutual commercial, and several runway shows. I hope to return to AMTC and if there is ever anything that I can do to help out with AMTC, please let me know. I look forward to seeing you again.
Hope all is well,
Jarred Mitchell.
