I am an extremely conservative and protective parent, and I applaud Carey Arban and Bob Lewis for directing this convention in compliance with Christian moral standards. Carey and Bob were, indeed, defenders of human sexual dignity at this convention as Carey informed the young people that being sexy through excess skin exposure is simply being “tacky,” and Bob highlighted one model’s success story with the mention that she never wore anything risqué during her career. Truly, this convention experience has been a breath of fresh air for my daughter, Ashleigh and me, as we certainly had doubts about her ability to find wholesome work in modeling! In fact, we actually thought that the convention would just be an informative experience and would end at that. Instead, Bob and Carey have sparked our desire to explore the industry, and Ashleigh and I now have hope that there is a place for her as a Christian model!! Thank you, AMTC family!
