Hi Carey,
Donna Groff wanted us to share our story with you. Alison Turbyeville, AMTC Winter 2010/Summer 2010, tried out for the Greene County Fine Arts Council production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” last Monday. Alison loved the character of Imogene Herdman but did not write it down as a part she wanted because the character uses God’s name in vain three times.
The director called Wednesday night and said she noticed Alison had written down the “nice girl” parts, but she would love Ali to play Imogene because she thought Ali would have the most training to give the character the development it needed to change throughout the play. Alison explained to the director she would love to play the character but could not use God’s name in vain. The director said she would be happy to take that out of the play.We were thrilled. Alison is very excited to have a lead role in the production. We feel God has blessed her faithfulness!
Sincerely,
Rhonda and Scott Turbyeville
