Ryan performed at SHINE in the winter of 2012.

We went to NYC for a workshop, while we were waiting in the lobby, an audition was taking place in an adjoining theater. The lady running the audition spotted Ryan from across the lobby and came over to talk to him. When she found out we were from Texas, she said, “You have been sent by God. You are my answer to prayer. Will you come read for this role?” He read for her and a director, Alfred Preisser.
They cast him as Rick, one of the lead roles! Ryan will have the opportunity to be trained by the director every morning throughout July and perform two blocks away from Broadway!
