November 2008, UPDATE:
Nicholas Stargel has been a busy guy since coming to AMTC three years ago, where he was a double overall winner for modeling and acting! He has been busy in print work for clients like Macy’s, Land End, and Proctor & Gamble, but he has probably enjoyed acting the most! Nicholas has filmed commercials for company’s including Kellogg’s, Marshall’s, Subway, and Suave. He’s also landed roles in TV and film, such as Hallmark Hall of Fame’s Front of the Class and a guest starring role on Monk. Nicholas filmed a pilot, My Parents, My Sister, and Me, as well as a DVD, Hooked on ABC’s.
January Email from Beth Stargel
Dear Mrs. Arban,
I just wanted to give you an update on Nicholas since our participation in Winter of 2006. Nicholas has been pursing his acting skills in the Atlanta and Los Angeles markets with much success. Below is a current list of his work.
I also wanted you to know that the agency’s in LA think highly of your program. I had a lengthy conversation with parents of upcoming child actors and agents about your program a previous trip to LA. I was surprised at the cost difference of “similar” competition programs. The agents were pleased that the program was reasonable and they stressed that they received higher quality kids to choose from. I told of our experience and how fortunate we were to have Nicholas attend your AMTC program. I hate to call it a competition because all the kids were great and I think they all win by participating.
We are enjoying our extended stay home during the writer’s strike, but plan to return to Los Angeles when things resume. Nicholas is really enjoying acting and now is trying his hand at singing and song writing. He is a pretty creative seven year old! Thank you again for letting him express himself in a safe and friendly environment.
Sincerely,
Beth Stargel
