We have been in LA for the past three months, and we know without a shadow of a doubt that we are supposed to be here! Jay Jay just booked his 10th job, and last week he worked 7 days in a row! I have never seen my child so happy. He loves this world and knows that this is what God has called him to do.

He has completed three short films (one an episodic being pitched to Disney), A Feature Night of the Living Fred, and commercials for Vitamin Water, KidzBop, Petsmart, an internet commercial called Toy Confiscation, and a European commercial called Inspiration. He was also just cast in a feature film called Crossroad. When he auditioned, we had little information about the film, but I researched the production company and found out it is a Christian film! God is amazing! He has connected us with believers all over this city and on every set we’ve been on.

I look forward to sharing more wonderful successes as God unfolds His plan in Jay Jay’s life, but most of all, how God will proclaim this industry as His. One thing that has become so apparent to me is how we so desperately need to support each other as believers. We as a family pray that believers will be successful and book lots of jobs. We also must pray protection over all working to reclaim this industry for God.

I want to thank you, Carey, so much for AMTC. It’s so awesome how God used AMTC in my life to get us here.

Jay Jay will be filming at Big Sky Movie Ranch, a film location with mountains, hills, valleys, vistas, and a natural landscape for film making like no other film ranch.It is a western short film. He plays the son of the lead and gets to rescue his dad from a gang of bad guys! Jay Jay is working with the children’s theatre in Hollywood where he plays Pumbaa in the Lion King.

The audition was great! He auditioned for the casting director. We leave for LA tomorrow and he is auditioning as young Larry for the 3 Stooges movie!
