January 2010 UPDATE

Hey there!,

Chris Sierra here! So I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

One, my band, Attalus, has finally released our EP, The Greater Tide EP, on iTunes. My band has worked so hard on this and we want to spread our music/message with the world.

We have some big shows coming up! On February 6th, we are playing with HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS at the Local 506 on Chapel Hill, NC, and on February 18th we are playing at The Brewery in Raleigh, NC. It will be an amazing show with some incredible local bands;The Future is Me, The Ethnographers and a few others!

Thank you for always being there and supporting us. I hope to see you all soon and I pray you have a blessed and amazing 2011.

Previous UPDATE

Hey there!

I hope you are all doing well my AMTC Family. I miss and love you all very much!! Just wanted to write a quick update on what is going on and what Jesus has blessed me with up in the NYC!

Recently, I was blessed with the opportunity to be booked on the show Law and Order: SVU, as the guest role of Frank, at the new year beginning episode called “Quickie.” It was such an incredible opportunity and while on set, Jesus sparked within me a strong passion to get more involved with acting so that He could show the world, (with me as His instrument) that this industry doesn’t matter – only our King does.

To add to that, a couple of months ago, I landed a print ad job for a pharmaceutical drug company called Nutropin and the campaign lands in April! Yet again, what an incredible blessing!

Lastly, I was also given the opportunity, to play an extra role on One Life to Live 2 separate times! Also, John and I have formed our band and have been recording under the tag The//Reverie. The songs will be premiered soon. The//Reverie represents the one hope and dream that we all long for (but for some of us just don’t know it yet), the love of a Savior, the love of a Redeemer…

To leave you with this, I am so excited about what this year of 2010 holds. I am anxious yet excited to press on and see what my Jesus is going to do with not only myself, but with Christians all over the world. This is a new year, a year to stand up for the Redeemer and spread His Redeeming love. Let us not compromise, nor run to this world for our dreams but let us store them up with a King who holds us near to His heart.

March 2009 UPDATE

Hey Mrs. Carey,
Just wanted to stop in and see how you were doing!!? So how are you?? I miss seeing all you guys and am praying for all you guys. It feels like its been so long since competition, when it was only three months ago…I miss it so much. So much has gone down since then and I owe it all to AMTC!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, not only have you helped me achieve some amazing feats, but you guys helped me grow spiritually with my King Jesus! Hope to see you soon and hope all is going great! So now for the update:

John and I went to NYC about a month ago, where we met with Shirley Grant Mgmt. From that meeting John and I signed with Shirley Grant Management and found out that they had some INCREDIBLE stuff they want to do with us…turn us into the NEXT Jonas Brothers!! Talk about crazy, but we are so excited (overall we want our heart and passion to be to reach people, not to get our name out there or gain fame, so prayer for that would be GREAT!…FOCUS ON JESUS!) John and I are going to be moving up to NYC in either June or July to pursue this thing and see what God does…YAY!!

Also, I got booked to do a Team Tylenol Nascar Webisode (will become a T.V. Commercial depending upon how well it does!) through Marilyn’s International Model and Talent Agency (the agency John and I are signed to in NC) and we filmed yesterday, IT WAS INCREDIBLE! I got to work with Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Elliot Sadler, and Kevin Harvick, four of the most incredible NASCAR drivers ever! Also, it was SAG affiliated so that was amazing as well…truly a humbling and incredible experience.

Thanks so much for everything…none of this would have been possible without YOU, Stephanie Keel, Drew Matthews, and AMTC…and most of all King Jesus! Thanks so much and God Bless…love you guys so much and wish you the best. I HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELL AND THAT BOTH JOHN AND I GET TO SEE YOU SOON!! We hope to continue to be part of the AMTC family forever!! LOVE YOU GUYS!
