Chelsea Connell

Update from Chelsea’s mom, Leslie:

I am usually asked by other parents whether I thought going to AMTC was worthwhile. I have to say YES. I started out like most parents, not knowing anything about the business when Chelsea, my 15 year old daughter, attended the Jan 2007 AMTC. The workshops I attended provided the information I needed as a parent to help her in this business. Chelsea was completely energized by the presenters who shared their personal trials and triumphs. The experience highlighted not only her strengths (Top Ten in Monologue category, selected for Monologue Showcase) but revealed what work still needed to be done (Broadway). Using the information I gained at AMTC and put into practice, Chelsea made nine films in 2007, had 5 leads in those films, 2 supporting, was featured in a music video, and worked on a large budget feature film for 20th Century Fox.
