Talent Agent Endorsements

Having participated as a panelist or speaker at most of the major conferences in the music industry, AMTC is by far one of the most well put together events I have seen. It’s also refreshing to have been a part of something whose founders and staff hold such high regard for ethics and morals. I hope to be a part of many more AMTC events and have told many of my collegues about such a wonderful and legitimate conference.

I appreciate my experiences with the AMTC staff, the regional directors, the casting directors, agents and other industry people that I have the opportunity to meet and get to know over the few days at each session I attend. In the last three years, I’ve signed a few AMTC actors as clients, and cast a couple in my productions— kids and adults. Some relationships have flourished, others have been more casually based; but I’m impressed with the general quality of the attending talent, and their potential to succeed in Los Angeles as professionals. Like with any networking event, you get back what you put into it. I believe my greatest contribution is in the honest and direct approach I offer, and the education and guidance I’m able to impart to those that come to my callbacks. In a few short days, I judge hundreds of young-to-old actors, beginners to to semi-pros. This can be exhausting, but also inspiring! I also find that with so many different personalities and people, the AMTC attendees can gain a range of information, ideas, opinions and suggestions on how to further their training and professions in the business of performance. It is a business, as well as a craft, and those that can take this info from the sessions, will grow and mature from it.

I just wanted to send out a very special thank you for continuing to invite Elite to the Millie Lewis events. It was certainly a pleasure attending the event this past week. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of callbacks that I found, which were the most of any other event I’ve been to. I travel a lot and have attended many conventions but you gathering in Orlando by far surpassed any others.

Just wanted to drop a quick note and say thank you for inviting me to be a part of the convention last week. Once again, you and your team put on a first class conference. You are some of the most professional and caring people I’ve ever worked with.

I have been attending the Millie Lewis Conventions for the past 17 years and have always found incredible talent there. My success culminated recently when I booked three actors from the Summer 2008 competition in a national Papa John’s commercial. You are simply the best!
