Nathan is an AMTC grad. Check out Nathan’s AMTC Success Story

Published in News About the Arts in the Southern Crescent

Nathan Pearson, an eighth grader at JC Booth Middle School and Peachtree City, Georgia native, was a born entertainer. His family and friends discovered this when Nathan was a small child, but Hollywood is just finding out about this young, aspiring actor. Nathan, now a card-carrying member of the Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG), got his start with the local community theaters where he played Benjamin in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with the Fayette/Coweta Family Theater (FCFT), Kirk in The Sound of Music with The Twilight Theater, Prince Chucalokon with the South Side Theater and Amahl with Janice Folsom in the Southern Crescent Chorale. Winning a national thespian contest, AMTC (Actors Models & Talent Competition), known as “The Olympics” of the industry, wherein hewon 1st place on Monologue, 1st place duet and 2nd place in solo, changed everything for (pictured above, Nathan Pearson on the set of Criminal Minds) this young talent.

Nathan, now managed by Ted Brunson of Weissman Brunson Management, New York, boasts Los Angeles’ Meredith Fine of Coast to Coast Talent Group as his Agent. She is noted for representing famous young performers like Haley Joel Osment, and sibling stars, Abigail and Spencer Breslin of “Little Miss Sunshine” and “The Santa Claus 2” fame. Additionally, Nathan has joined B and B Model Talent Agency in Newnan, Georgia.

Nathan’s passion for acting and singing got him noticed quickly in Hollywood, and he has already booked guest roles on a number of upcoming series and movies. To date, he has filmed three guest spots on the new Nickelodeon series, iCarly, executive produced by Daniel Schneider, known for Zoey 101, Drake & Josh and All That, and starring Miranda Cosgrove who played Megan Parker on Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh, with the first two scheduled to air 14 October 2007 (Season 1, Episode 4), and 18 November 2007 (Season 1, Episode 8). He plays Jeremy, “the germiest student at school.” The fourteen year-old will also appear in the CBS series Criminal Minds on 17 October 2007. (Season 3, Episode 4), playing a teenager, and has filmed a guest role on an HBO Pilot, tentatively titled “East Bound and Down” listing both Will Ferrell and Brooke Shields’ husband, Chris Henchy, as executive producers.

Nathan’s family, father, Mark, mother, Lani, sister, Lindsey and brother, Alex, are all incredibly supportive of his desire to pursue acting. The local community, including both his current school administrators at Booth and his previous ones at Kedron Elementary, and acting coaches, including his current coach, Lisina Longo of The Company Acting Studio in Atlanta, have definitely been a part of this goal, and Nathan plans to continue to pursue his dream…with just a little help from those very same family members and friends who have been there from the beginning.
