NY Premiere of We Bought a Zoo

We Bought a Zoo had its New York Premiere last night at Manhattan’s famed Ziegfeld Theatre. Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson and director Cameron Crowe were among the stars who attended the event.

We Bought a Zoo opens in theaters on December 23rd from 20th Century Fox. The comedy drama is directed by Crowe and stars Damon, Johansson, Elle Fanning, Stephanie Szostak, Carla Gallo, Thomas Haden Church, Patrick Fugit, Angus Macfadyen, John Michael Higgins, Colin Ford, Desi Lydic, J.B. Smoove, Maggie Elizabeth Jones, Nicole Andrews, Mark Hengst, Lily Rains, Dustin Ybarra and Erick Chavarria.

The film is based on a memoir by Benjamin Mee, and tells the true account of how the author and his family used their life savings to buy a dilapidated zoo, replete with 200 exotic animals facing destruction, in the English countryside.
