Actors, Models & Talent for Christ: SHINE

SHINE is a biannual talent showcase held in Orlando, FL, scouted by 50-100 respected agents, managers, casting directors, and music professionals. For six days twice a year, the city of Orlando is transformed into an entertainment capital. Performers come from all over the world to showcase their talent. Industry professionals come from all over the world to see them.

Promising beginners look like veterans on the stages of SHINE. Models, actors, singers, and dancers, ages 4 through 81 (SHINE’s oldest grad-to-date), are prepared to meet their destiny, to be ambassadors for Christ in the entertainment industry. SHINE hosts kings of Hollywood and Christian casting directors, because both seek top talent. Both find it.

SHINE is also an educational event. Over 30 national seminars are offered during the six-day convention by the industry professionals—executives rarely met under normal circumstances. Performers and families learn together from these career-makers the ‘Do’s and ‘Don’ts’ of film, fashion, and music to help them avoid the easy frustration that comes from being unprepared.

When they’re not on SHINE stages or attending a workshop, God’s future stars experience fellowship like never before; they make new friends from places near and far who become lifelong allies. On Day Six of SHINE, AMTC talent meets one-on-one with the agents and casting directors who have been watching them all week. Connections are made.

SHINE is a platform for God’s performers to walk in love and excellence—to walk through the right doors: doors that can make a difference, doors that can launch a career, doors that allow His role models to shine for Him.

Before attending SHINE, aspiring performers must audition and be accepted by an AMTC scout ot Regional Affiliate. See AMTCaudition.com. After receiving a callback, they must complete The Bridge preparation program.
