What is your placement rate?

AMTC has placed thousands of people in careers over the past 28 years. In fact, we have over 1100 or our recent placements listed on this website. Please see the Top 100 as well as Additional Success Stories.

Want some statistics? At past conventions, approximately 66% of our contestants received at least one callback from a major Scout in attendance. And at the Winter 2010 convention, 76% of the contestants received at least one callback! A “callback” indicates interest from a Scout. A callback may become an immediate contract, future interest, referral to another agent, or advice. A callback is an open door to a Scout.

Placement can happen immediately after AMTC. It can also happen weeks, months, or even years after the event. As an example, AMTC’s Brea Peck came to the Labor Day Convention in 2004. Although Brea had lots of interest, her modeling contract and career did not actually begin until 2006! Once she started, Brea’s career took off fast. See Brea’s story.

Our CSO, Carey Lewis Arban, says her best guess at offers of representation resulting from AMTC is approximately 20 – 25%.

However, AMTC does not recommend that anyone attend convention simply to “get a contract.” We believe contestants should attend an Actors, Models & Talent for Christ convention to follow a calling God places on their hearts. It is God who promotes. If we are faithful to His calling and do not stop, we will be successful. The timing and extent of our success are up to Him, but have faith: your success in the entertainment industry will be perfect for you.
