Frequently Asked Questions:

What do I need to bring to the search?

Children and teens needs to bring one or both parents. AMTC is family-oriented. All auditions must be “G” rated! Dress casually, but nothing “sexy.” Wear little to no makeup, natural hair, and prepare to have fun! AMTC Scouts are nice to everyone.

Actors will be given a short script to read, or you can prepare a 30 second monologue. Singers will sing a capella (without accompaniment), so that our professional scouts can hear your voice. Dancers, please bring an accompaniment CD and prepare a 30 second – one minute routine. Those who are interested in modeling will be asked to walk for our Scout. You can audition in as many areas as you like, but everyone (including models and singers) will be asked to read a script.

Please bring a snapshot to leave with us. The audition may last 2-3 hours. For more information on our searches, please see amtcaudition.com
