Frequently Asked Questions:

I’m worried about the stories I have heard about models concerning drugs and a fast life. What can you tell me about this?

Bad stories happen when two mistakes are made: Mistake #1. You choose a disreputable agency. That can happen without expert advice! Mistake #2. A young talent’s family is not involved. At AMTC, we pre-screen every Agent, Manager, and Casting Director. You meet only the best. We also believe that a teen model or actor should have a parent on every trip. In addition, your teen should be above average in maturity and self-confidence. A teen is best suited for national work by being a leader, not a follower.

Drugs, poor choices, and a “fast life” can happen anywhere – at home or in school. One of the biggest fringe benefits of AMTC (or any positive involvement in the modeling or talent industry) is that it lifts a teen above her local peer group. Young people involved in the talent industry are high achievers. Many parents have seen self-confidence, maturity, attitude, and grades improve during and after AMTC involvement.
