An NBC Dallas reporter, Grant Stinchfield, emailed me on May 6 to say he wanted to do a story on AMTC. He planned to come to an AMTC search in Dallas on Friday, May 14. Yeah! I was excited, because I want the amazing message of AMTC to be known throughout the world. I was told by news experts that Grant is an award-winning investigative reporter, and the best case scenario would be “no story.” In other words, nothing positive could come from a reporter like Grant.
Still, I hoped. Nothing is impossible for God. I knew Grant’s interview of me and his story about AMTC could be a big opportunity to publish our mission to promote good role models and positive programming in the entertainment industry.
On the afternoon of “AMTC’s big break,” thunderstorms closed the Dallas airport and backed up air travel for hours. I sat on the ground in Atlanta ultimately realizing I wouldn’t be there. Grant came anyway, saw the end of the AMTC presentation and interviewed my backup, Drew Matthews.
Drew said Grant was polite, but aggressive. He chose not to interview the attending success stories and seemed to focus on the cost of the AMTC program, as well as the #1 skeptical question, “How many people do you call back?”
When we answer that question honestly by saying, “we call back everyone we think we can help, with goals being more important than talent,” that answer “doesn’t fly” for many people. In a world that’s centered on money, it seems impossible for some to believe that a business can be centered on God and operating in faith. We continue to believe God for the right contestants, the best agents, the big success stories, and the funds to run our company. So far, He’s never disappointed us, and I don’t believe He ever will.
However, with answers like that, it’s like we are speaking Greek… and maybe to many we are. The NBC story should air this week. Whatever it turns out to be, God is stronger than the media. He is our defense, and I believe good will come from Grant’s visit to an AMTC search.
Each individual has a choice about what to hear and who to believe. Even Jesus could not (or did not try) to convince unbelievers. When I became a committed Christian at the age of 51, I turned my life around to walk in a faith I never knew existed. AMTC became His company. I am thankful, and we are hopeful that Grant’s story about AMTC will be a good one!

People that put their focus on temporal gain will always make the worst out of temporal loss...hopefully when it is time to give an account those people will have placed something in their eternal savings.

If it was easy to do what AMTC does, everyone would be doing it. It takes faith, courage, determination, and integrity to remain true to your calling, even when it is inconvenient.
All things work together for good to them that love God (Romans 8:28). AMTC must stay true to its mission and leave the rest in God's very capable hands. It's been exciting so far!

How does a worldly reporter report to the world about a company that runs on the Holy Spirit? Of course, he make it all about the numbers and facts.
Fortunately for many us of, it's not all numbers and facts. It's about faith. Those that have faith need no answers beyond their own conviction. Conviction: an unshakable belief in something without need for proof or evidence.
Actor, Models and Talent for Christ is an anomaly to the media as we know it. Thank God a change is coming!

The moment Carey Arban made a decision to lead AMTC as a Christian leader was the day she put a bulls eye on her and the organization.
The full armor of God speaks of the breastplate of righteousness and the shield of faith. These two weapons protect her and AMTC from any malicious gossip prevalent in secular media.
AMTC wiil stand tall as a leader in developing talented believers who want to impact Hollywood with wholesome entertainment and be witnesses of the love of Christ in them.
AMTC leadership needs only to stand in faith trusting in the Sovereign Lord to protect and promote the values of its organization and to stand firm in their integrity. They provide an authentic opportunity to assist talented people to fulfill their dreams!!!
An organization should never be maligned for providing such an opportunity for people to fulfill their dreams...
AMTC does a great job in weeding out people with a dream but do not have the talent from those who have the dream and talent...
I have witnessed many individuals who were refused a call back because AMTC felt at the audition that they did not have the talent... now that is integrity!

Carey, you know we did this in Richmond, VA already. Obviously, there are just a lot of unknowns in the world about how to make it in this industry. People of all kinds spend thousands of dollars a year on training, opportunity and education. Whether it is golf lessons, a college education, customer service training, a week long drama camp, a resume writing workshop or playing fastpitch travel ball. AMTC is simply running a business to do just this, train, educate and provide opportunity.
I believe AMTC is a very transparent company with a great mission. So bring on the attention.

Our family is thankful for AMTC and the joy it has brought us. We have had so many opportunities recently that we would not have had. I thank God for Carey and her staff. What a great blog! I was there at the audition when the reporter came. It's too bad the weather was so terrible that afternoon, but the very next audition that evening was packed with many wonderful, talented people. I love being one of the scouts for the children and seeing their God-given gifts. God bless AMTC!

I can recall a time when Joyce Meyer Ministries was under attack by the local media in her town. They were questioning her financial integrity and attempting to assassinate her character. After several months of slander and false allegations, the Lord vindicated her ministry from ALL allegations. The most exciting and encouraging part was that; within weeks the ministry received record financial support from all over the country. Our GOD used the free publicity to work for her good. With that said; Ms. Arban prepare for the increase of new god-appointed client coming to AMTC and amazing new opportunities to share JESUS to a lost world.

It is incredible to see that the world is actually taking notice of us (AMTC)! It is truly showing that God is making an impact so the enemy is getting a little upset because we are taking light into the darkness and where light is, darkness cannot stay! God is going to bring the utmost glory to this and although they may try to spin the situation, God always gets the last laugh and period on the sentence..God bless you Carey for all that you are and continue doing for individuals that know the calling of God for this part of their purpose and to allow us to pursue and fulfill His call no matter the age, or anything else that comes along with it!!!

Good will come from the story! Everyone involved with AMTC is on a blessed mission. We know that we are walking on an incredible path and that whatever the media response He has a plan. For we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
