How Talent Glorifies God!

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit: so that ye shall be my disciples. (John 15:8 KJV)
In Jesus’ own words, we are told to bear much fruit. What type of fruit? Our fruit differs with the gifts that God put inside each one of us. God loves diversity; therefore, He gave us a diversity of gifts. Within AMTC, we see abundant talent. God put a calling within exceptional individuals of all ages to perform: to act, sing, dance or model. Why? To glorify Him with their talents. To bring light into a dark industry. To move others toward Him. God gave stars charisma. We see it on TV, in the movies, on the stage, and in beautiful models. Stars fascinate us. God has a purpose in it, but the purpose can be perverted. Dark forces tempt today’s vulnerable celebrities toward money, power, pride, vanity, and a misuse of their gifts.
What is AMTC’s role? To launch new stars with a passion for God- stars who will set good examples- stars who will shine a divine light to inspire others! When talented individuals deny their gifts, when parents don’t allow their children to perform, frustration sets in. It will only be lifted by following their calling. Tens of thousands of Christian families have held their young performers back, fearing the effects of a dark industry. I believe these parents must root their children in the Word, trust God, and allow them to pursue the calling God put in their hearts!
How else can the world be changed?

I totally agree with your comment on allowing our children to walk in the path that God has chosen for them along with the gifts and talents they have instilled in them before the beginning of time. God knows who we are, much better than we do. You are an awesome Mom and a true friend (in the sense of confidant, mentor, advisor, etc.) to both of your girls! More power and prosperity of God to you all, Donna, Rich, Brandi and Brianna!!! (smile!)

Carey, thank you for posting such a sincere and pure article/bolg on Brandi-Danielle. It came right on time.
She and Brianna are once again participating in the NC State Ballet Company. Brandi as an advanced dancer. However, the director admitted that her technique, execution, and stage presence were wonderful, but her height hold her back from doing several roles that she would otherwise be able to participate.
This hurt Danielle because she can not control her height, but knows that God made her EXACTLY the way she is for "such a time as this." When the "this" time comes, she will know... and no one but she will be able to fulfill what God has for her. This all happened yesterday.
To find the your forwarded email via Stephanie was divine timing. When she saw it, she was uplifted and sincerely touched that you thought enough of her performance to feature it and prays that many are witnessed to thru the message of the piece.
In time, God will broaden her territory for her to speak thru dance to the world. She has SO much to say....
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your obedience to His SPirit on this. It touched a life and made a mama's heart sing :o)!
